48 Improvs was recorded on a Tuesday afternoon using a Zoom H4n digital recorder in 4-track mode pointed at metal chairs, plastic lamps, vocalizations, acoustic guitar, harmonica, paper, ceiling fan, light bulbs, weights, a bathroom, cable tv, AC unit, fountain, flip flops, golf ball, and piano.
